Spotlight Saturday in June

Can you believe it's the first Saturday of June?  Surely by now you're out of school, sitting by the pool, reading a good book.  Nah, you're a TEACHER and you're probably ALREADY planning for next year.  What is wrong with us that we can't ever completely 'leave it alone?'   With that being said, I know you're ready for some more links to freebies!  As always, I have a few more for ya'.

This first one is interesting and quite unique.  It's a power point from Heather that is good tool to use with your upper elementary and even middle/high school kids.  You use it at the beginning of the year to assess learning styles of your students.  It's great when planning your cooperative groups and activities centered around how kids learn best.  Try it out...it's FREE!  Click on image to grab.

Freebie #2 today comes to you from The Diary of a Not So Wimpy Teacher.  She's sharing a 13 page document with a variety of writing prompts for upper elementary students.  I've learned as a 3rd grade teacher that there's nothing easier for a substitute than writing prompts!  This teacher found some outrageous photos that lend itself to some very creative writing from your kiddos.  This one is a super printable to run and have handy at a moment's notice. Click on image to find.

I didn't forget about all my EARLY elementary friends!  I've got a great freebie from a K teacher called "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Letter Naming and Sounds."  Mrs. Lirette is getting a lot of exposure with this adorable download, so grab it while you can!  It ties in the real aspects of the original game, while practicing those letter names and sounds.
C-U-T-E!

From one teacher to another, please take the time to thank these teachers for providing you with some great additions for your classroom!  :-)

In closing, if you haven't entered my 100+ followers giveaway, it's not too late!  It'll be up and going until June 10th!  I have been overwhelmed by the support, sweet words, and encouragement from you all.  You all are SO GREAT that I may be celebrating  200 followers before long.  :-)

Bananas for the June sunshine and some relaxing days ahead,
